Dersin Amacı

The course a The course aims: 1. to develop students’ reading and comprehension skills, 2. to improve students’ vocabulary acquisition, 3. to enable students to analyze the literary themes, 4. to improve students’ communication skills by encouraging them to relate their ideas on the story to their own knowledge and experience, and share the ideas with the class, and 5. to familiarize the students with different life styles and cultural values.

The course aims: to improve students’ reading and comprehension skills,to introduce new vocabulary and make students acquire this vocabulary,to make the students analyze stories and express their own opinions in story related discussions,to review grammar structures essential for writing summaries, and to arouse awareness related to different life styles and cultural values.
