Dersin İçeriği

Dersin Amacı

The aim of this course is to give students a broad understanding of mechanical behaviours of materials under different loading conditions. The general stress-strain relations under different loading conditions will be given. With the aim of this course, students will be able to analyse the stress and strains in the engineering structures, and can estimate potential failure risks the engineering structure may undergo. Furthermore, with the contents of this course students will understand and utilise the general design principles engineering materials.
